Silvia Dominguez and Ros Casares are rolling on a wave of success in the last weeks

Ros Casares could hardly be in a better state of mind following their recent stretch of games.

After coming from behind to stun UMMC Ekaterinburg in Spain in the EuroLeague Women on November 16, the club travelled to Istanbul last week and knocked Galatasaray from the ranks of the unbeaten in the Europe, beating the Istanbul side, 76-46.

Back at home over the weekend in the Liga Femenina, Ros rolled to an 89-52 victory over Hondarribia-Irun.

The toughest opponents for Ros are in the EuroLeague Women, and captain Laia Palau admitted: "I think we are at a good level after victories against Bourges, Ekaterinburg and Galatasaray."

Perfumerias Avenida bounced back from their first defeat in the EuroLeague Women last week at home to Fenerbahce and blew out RC Celta Baloncesto, 76-56, in the Liga Femenina.

Rivas Ecopolis, winners of five straight in the EuroLeague Women, prevailed 70-61 at home against UNB Obenasa Lacturale.

France

Tarbes have yet to win in the EuroLeague but the French giants are at least getting the sweet taste of victory on the domestic front.

They prevailed 79-76 at home over Villeneuve d'Ascq in the LFB.

Ana Cata Chitiga led the way with 19 points while Naura El Gargati weighed in with 18 and 10 boards.

Bourges are also a team struggling without key players, injured France veterans Emmeline Ndongue and Celine Dumerc.

They went down to a 58-53 home setback to Mondeville, who got 13 points from Hhadydia Minte.

Mondeville, Basket Landes, Bourges and Tarbes are each 6-4 in the French top flight.

The other EuroLeague Women team, Lattes Montpellier (BLMA) fell 69-65 in a battle of unbeatens at Challes-les-Eaux (10-0), despite getting 19 points from Ana Lelas.

BLMA are now second at 9-1 in France.

Hainaut Basket, one of the EuroCup Women's undefeated teams, won at home over Charleville-Mézières, 65-58.

Petra Stampalija had 17 points and Amisha Carter 16 for Hainaut.

Russia

EuroLeague Women giants UMMC Ekaterinburg were in action in Russia and they claimed a 69-56 victory at Dynamo Kursk, a leading side in the EuroCup Women.

Candace Parker poured in 18 points and Anete Jekabsone 17 for the winners.

Katie Douglas and Rebekkah Brunson scored 19 points apiece for Nadezdha in a 76-55 win over Chevakata.

Poland

In the latest round of clashes in Poland, Lotos Gdynia warmed up for this week's EuroLeague Women by claiming an 85-52 victory at Lodz.

Jolene Anderson is Gdynia's scoring machine and she led the club again with 22 points while Aneika Henry had 21.

CCC Polkowice fell 89-84 at Energa Torun.

Polkowice, a side in the EuroLeague Women this season, got 20 points from Evina Maltsi.

Polish league leaders Wisla Can-Pack Krakow (10-0) cruised to an 80-56 victory over KK Row Rybnik with Erin Phillips' 18 points leading the way.

Nicole Powell, one of the leading players of Wisla, says the balanced attack against Rybnik was a good sign.

"Looking at this game and the statistics, I'm happy with the fact that it was a balanced game, because each of the players had a chance to take part and contribute to the win."

Polkowice are second in the Polish standings and Gdynia are third.

Czech Republic

USK Prague are flying high at the top of the Czech Excelsior ZBL table after clinching their 13th win of the domestic campaign at the weekend.
