Enisey Krasnoyarsk Impressive Winners At BC Donetsk


Lionel Chalmers poured in 31 points to fire Enisey Krasnoyarsk to a second straight victory in the EuroChallenge at the expense of hosts BC Donetsk.

Enisey Krasnoyarsk, after scraping a one-point win over CSU Asesoft Ploiesti last week, prevailed 90-80.

The Russian outfit opened up a 45-35-lead at half-time and extended that to 71-55 by the end of the third quarter before cruising home.

Chalmers, who had 15 points and eight assists last week, was three of four from long range.

Latvia international center Kaspars Kambala poured in 20 points and Frederick Warrick contributed 14 for the winners.

Donetsk, who narrowly missed out on playing in the Eurocup following a defeat to Bilbao over two legs, got 29 points and 11 rebounds from Anthony Tucker.
