Dmytro Zabirchenko is a proven fighter for team Ukraine, entering his third straight campaign with Mike Fratello. Dmytro is the one to usually get the most difficult defensive assignment, taking pride in how well he can shut down the opponent. On the offensive end Zabirchenko is a deadly spot up shooter with nerves of steel. The Ukrainian guard finished the 2012/13 season with Azovmash Mariupol, averaging slightly more than 20 minutes, almost four points and two rebounds-per-game in their Superleague silver-medal stint. Dmytro's top season performance came in Game 1 of the Superleague finals, when he scored 12 points on a perfect shooting display, whilst also adding five rebounds and a steal to his stats.
