5. Mouhamed Sene (Fuenlabrada)
Fuenlabrada coach Porfirio Fisac mentioned Mouhamed Sene as one of the players who are benefiting from the EuroChallenge experience

Fuenlabrada coach Porfirio Fisac believes his team is getting a charge out of the EuroChallenge.

The club defeated Norrköping Dolphins last week and rode the momentum of that triumph to an 85-77 win at Blusens Monbus in Spain's Liga Endesa.

Kirk Penny's 25 points were a game high for Fuenlabrada against Blusens, while Leo Mainoldi added 17 points and eight rebounds.

"Now that we are immersed in the dynamics of playing two games a week, it's key to have all players available," Fisac said.

"The EuroChallenge is a competition that is giving us positive feelings.

"The first game allowed Penny to find his shooting touch, it allowed Mouhamed Sene to take important steps and also our younger players to have starring roles."

Fisac says that this week's Group A opponents, EWE Baskets Oldenburg, will be formidable.

"Oldenburg are on paper the strongest team that we will face in our group," he said.

"In the German league, there are teams at quite a comparable level to those in the Liga Endesa.

"In fact, Oldenburg have the likes of Adam Chubb (CAI Zaragoza) and Kenneth Hasbrouck (Alicante) or Milan Majstorovic (Manresa) that competed last year at a good level in the ACB.

"If we win, it will mean that we have almost put one foot in the next phase.

"Beating them on Oldenburg's court means many things for us."

The fans of BK Prostejov and BK Pardubice have been looking forward to their team's clash in the EuroChallenge for a long time.

The two sides are among the best in the Czech Republic and both will go into Tuesday's meeting on the back of weekend victories.

Prostejov thrashed Opava, 103-71, and Pardubice grinded out a 68-57 triumph over BK Decin.

Pavel Slezak has just signed for Prostejov and he had 11 points in just 14 minutes against Opava.

Jan Slowiak, the coach of Pardubice, said: "Slezak is a fearless shooter, as confirmed in the very first game against Opava.

"However, Prostejov's perimeter was already pretty good."

Pardubice last week won against Roanne.

"The players in my opinion are very well aware that after a good start against Roanne they must do their best to get a successful result," Slowiak said.

"But on the other hand, Prostejov certainly will want in their hall to confirm the (77-75) victory of Ukraine (over BC Goverla).

"Both opponents will have a lot of motivation, so I expect a very difficult game."

Bemaco SPU Nitra, having lost by five to EWE Baskets in the EuroChallenge, returned to winning ways by blowing away Levic in Slovakia's top flight, 83-62.

Okapi Aalstar returned to Belgium after their EuroChallenge trip to Triumph in Russia and lost 69-65 to Gent.

Chris Copeland poured in 20 points in defeat.

Roel Moors had 14 points for Antwerp Giants but they fell 71-60 at BC Telenet Oostende.

In France's Pro A., Elan Chalon needed overtime but beat Le Mans, 99-91.

Chalon, who are 1-0 in the EuroChallenge going into this week's game, got 22 points from Blake Schilb and 18 from Ilian Evtimov.

France's other teams in the European competition, Roanne Basket and Pau Lacq Orthez, went down to defeats.

Strasbourg won 93-80 over Roanne and Pau crashed to a 98-62 loss to Orleans.
