Hondarribia-Irun clinched their place in the next phase of the EuroCup Women with a 78-73 victory at home against Challes-Les-Eaux Basket.

The home side’s fans witnessed an enthralling encounter with their team trailing 59-55 early in the fourth quarter.

Rebekkah Brunson gathered 26 points and 16 rebounds to carry Cras Basket to a 62-59 home victory over Hondarribia-Irun in the EuroCup Women showdown of Group J favourites.

The 2005 WNBA champion and 2007 EuroCup winner Brunson scored 14 of the Italians' final 18 points, including the last eight in the win. Germany national team power forward Linda Fröhlich helped out with 10 points, five rebounds and four assists.
