Nicole Powell inspired Halcon Avenida to an 80-75 win over struggling Dexia Namur as the Belgian side fell to their fourth straight defeat despite a late fightback.
Powell poured in 20 points and contributed 14 rebounds while guard Silvia Dominguez added 18 points to the victors' total.
Dexia Namur's Katryna Gaither top-scored with 24 points but her efforts were in vain as the home side were behind from the first whistle and only took the game to the visitors in the final quarter.
The home side trailed 62-56 heading into the fourth period and drew level courtesy of Gaither's free-throw double with three minutes 44 seconds remaining, but Powell's free throws coupled with three-pointers from Anna Montanana and Dominguez sealed the win for Halcon.
The visitors had burst into a 25-15 first-quarter lead before extending their advantage at the break to 12 points.
A 15-11 run in the third looked to have made the win safe but the home side responded and came close to completing a comeback with a 29-18 run in the last quarter.
