All three of the EuroLeague Women teams in Russia's top flight had winning returns from the winter break though two received big scares.

Nadezhda Orenburg were taken to overtime by Dynamo Moscow but finally won 99-94.

Belarus international point guard Natallia Marchanka had 13 points and eight assists for Dynamo, who are in the EuroCup Women, but it wasn't enough against Nadezhda.

Becky Hammon made all 11 of her free-throws and drilled three of five shots from long range en route to a game-high 33 points for Orenburg.

Nadezhda's Shameka Christon poured in 24 points and Tina Charles had 21 along with a game-high 11 rebounds.

Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje survived in a 77-74 home triumph over Spartak-ShVSM-Efes Moscow.

Pokey Chatman's team, which played without Australia superstar Lauren Jackson, trailed entering the fourth quarter but outscored the visitors 19-12 the rest of the way.

UMMC Ekaterinburg, meanwhile, demolished Spartak Noginsk 112-52.

Ekat stormed into a 27-16 lead by the end of the first quarter and never turned back.

The most important aspect of this game was the return of Candace Parker to the UMMC line-up.

The USA international missed the early part of the season while recovering from shoulder and knee operations.

She had 16 points in the victory.

In a battle of EuroCup Women sides, meanwhile, Dynamo Kursk crashed to a 67-48 home defeat to Chevakata.

UMMC are at the top of the standings at 10-0 with both Sparta&K and Nadezhda 8-2.

Kursk and Chevakata follow at 6-4 and 5-5, respectively.
