Boris Sokolovsky knows all about the qualities of Natalya Myasoedova since he also doubles-up as her club coach at Dynamo-GUVD. She is a strong post player who has an impressive number of skills and none more so than her defensive capabilities which see her regularly nullify the threat of opposing centers. Due to her long arms and dominant size, she is a great shot blocker and great rebounder, attributes which may yet persuade Sokolovsky to hand the 24-year-old a debut for the senior National Team. Myasoedova has already represented Russia in youth competitions, and comes into the summer full of confidence having completed an impressive campaign in EuroCup Women where she averaged 9.9 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. |
