Dynamo Novosibirsk boosted their chances of advancing from EuroCup Women Group C after completing a final quarter lockdown of Tarsus Belediye to complete tense 69-66 victory.

The Russian side had trailed by double-digits approaching half-time, but after working their way back into the game during the third quarter, they proceeded to hold Tarsus to a meagre eight points during the final period.

A three-pointer by Evgeniya Finogentova, who had only scored one point before, sealed the deal down the stretch as Delisha Milton-Jones, who claimed 18 points and six rebounds, failed in a bid to force overtime. Liubov Paskalenko excelled with a double-double of 15 points and 10 boards for the Siberians.

Basket Landes confirmed their participation in the next phase of the competition thanks to another couple of phenomenal displays by Kamila Stepanova and Danielle Page.

The in-form duo amassed an eye-popping 51 points for their team as they sealed a crushing 92-75 win against TSV Wasserburg to preserve their unbeaten status in Group E. Svenja Brunckhorst gathered 24 points for the Germans.

Marielle Amant and Cayla Francis were the game-winners with a shared 33 points and both falling just one rebound short of a double-double.

PEAC-Pecs still have high hopes of advancing after 20 points from Latoya Williams helped them to grind out a 58-51 victory at Belfius Namur who are still without a Group F win to their name.

Tarbes Gespe Bigorre shrugged off their domestic woes by becoming the third French team to safely negotiate the first stage after shutting down MBK Ruzomberok to take a 55-35 win and move to 4-1 in Group G.

Serbian forward Jovana Rad top scored with 15 points for Tarbes as the visitors endured a shocking night from the three-point line.

Also in Group G, Wallonia Basket injected some life into their prospects after completing a vital 77-71 success against Pinkk Pesci 424 thanks mainly to 23 points from Celeste Trahan.
