Cappie Pondexter poured in 26 points as Fenerbahce held off Phard Napoli 85-79 in a Euroleague Women Group A game that went to overtime.
Pondexter had missed what would have been a game-winning jump shot with five seconds remaining in regulation time after Adia Barnes had levelled the scores for Napoli.
Birsel Vardarli's three-pointer gave Fener an early fillip in the extra period and then Nevriye Yilmaz and Tamara Sutton-Brown added two more points apiece.
Napoli never gave up but Pondexter's lay-up kept Fener ahead.
Two free throws from Barnes saw Phard bring the score back to 80-78 but Pondexter split two free throws.
Yilmaz made two free throws and then Vardarli repeated the feat from the charity stripe to give the spoils to Fener.
Pondexter's haul included 10 from 15 inside the arc and she was six from seven from the free-throw line. She missed both her attempts from distance.
