Dynamo Sign Two New Players

Dynamo St Petersburg have signed two players from the UNICS reserve team to long-term contracts.

Twenty-three-year-old center Taras Osipov and 21-year-old guard Alexei Surovtsev have joined Dynamo, who are competing for honours in the Russian Superleague and the EuroCup.

Dynamo chief executive Vladimir Rodionov told the official website: "In my opinion, one of the main tasks of any serious team is to develop young, talented players.

"These two players are really able to be big players and it will be for the welfare of our club and all Russian basketball.

"They most likely will get used to their new club soon and will help us in the decisive games of this season."

Dynamo have parted company with center Igor Krotenkov and guard Dzmitry Kuzmin.
