Katie Douglas

The 2006-2007 season has been a quiet one by Katie Douglas standards. After leading the EuroLeague Women in scoring two consecutive seasons, Douglas is averaging a modest 14.5 ppg through the end of the Eighth Finals. But her team results are the same as TEO have once again been a consistent winner.

Douglas keyed TEO’s run to the Final Four last year. Although her side came up short, Douglas was brilliant, particularly in the second game when she scored 30 points in a loss. She then had a breakout year in the WNBA with the Connecticut Sun, but an ankle injury forced her to miss the playoffs and the opening stages of the 2006-2007 EuroLeague Women season.

Douglas is in her fifth season of European basketball and third with TEO. She joined Greek side Ano Liosia Basketball in 2003 and remained in Greece in 2004 with S.U. Glyfada Esperides Kyklos before joining the Lithuanian outfit.
