It is rare to see a player reach the peak of his career after the age of 35, but that is exactly what the most veteran player on the Israeli squad carries with him. Kozikaro won his first-ever title in Israel in 2013 with Maccabi Bazan Haifa at the end of his 16th season in the league. He played a key part in the great achievement, starting in 81% of the games, and playing 23 minutes-per-game to have full rights to the trophy. After missing EuroBasket 2011 he returns this summer for his sixth outing. An undersized big with one of the strongest builds, and surely one of the biggest hearts set to play in Slovenia, he will fight for any loose ball and box out the way he has been doing it since his first day on the basketball floor.
