The EuroLeague Women has had plenty of thrills and spills this season, and nowhere has that been truer than in Group C.

Other than Spartak Moscow Region and Gambrinus Brno finishing one and two, respectively, the race to spots three and four is still wide open after this week's results.

US Valenciennes, former champions of the EuroLeague Women, improved their chances of climbing into third spot with a 73-65 win over Kosit 2013 - a game which saw them outscore the Slovakian team 22-7 over the final 10 minutes.

USVO coach Herve Coudray said of that latest triumph: "This is a relief.  I am really very happy and proud of my team.

"I just hope now that Kosice will be able to beat Gdynia next week, which would give us the chance to finish third in our group."

Of course, USVO also have the small matter of having to take on Spartak in their final game of the group.

Lotos PKO BP climbed back into third place on Thursday with a 70-49 demolition of Dexia Namur in Belgium.

Kosit 2013 team Lotos PKO BP in their first encounter, which would give them an advantage in a head-to-head tie-break should the two sides finish at 4-6.

However, if USVO, Kosit and Lotos PKO BP all finish 4-6, then a tiebreaker using goal differential in the games between the three teams would be used to determine which teams finished third, fourth and fifth.

Dexia (1-8) have already been eliminated.
