The current Euroleague champions, US Valenciennes Olympic, played host in their final game of the regular season to last-placed Baltiyskaya Zwezda. The home squad used their fast breaks and high shooting percentage to take a 27-14 lead after the first quarter.

There were no suprises in Brno tonight, as Group A leaders Brno took on strugglers Baltiskaya Zwezda in the EuroLeague Women.

Baltiskaya have yet to win a game in the competition this season and were given no chance of a first victory by Brno. The home team stamped their authority on the game from the opening tip, dominating Baltiskaya at both ends of the floor.

Lietuvos Telekomas 88 vs. Baltiyskaya Zwezda 55

Lietuvos Telekomas Vilnius had little trouble disposing of Baltiskaya Zwezda in their Group A match-up tonight in Lithuania. The win was the Lithuanian champions' 7th of the season and sees them regain top spot in the group.

The home side were without star center Jurgita Streimikyte-Virbickiene, but still had too much firepower for Baltiskaya to deal with.

Lithuania: Lietuvos Telekomas Wary Of Baltiskaya Threat

Lietuvos Telekomas Vilnius go into action tonight against Group A minnows  Baltiskaya Zwezda. Baltiskaya have had a tough time in the EuroLeague this year and have yet to record a victory.

Despite the apparent ease of the task in hand, and a 25-point victory in the first game between the two sides, Lietuvos Telekomas are not taking the task in hand too lightly.
