Dijon's victory, coupled with Ironi Iscar Nahariya's 92-83 defeat at pool leaders Club Estudiantes, means the French team finish second on 10 points and go on to the next stage.

It was a real team effort by the hosts, who saw six players shoot double-figure tallies.

He was helped by Maleye Ndoye (18 points) and Abdoulaye Mbaye (16 points).

Asesoft were down by seven points (25-18) at the end of the first quarter, and things got worse before the break, the hosts going into the interval 52-41 up. From then on, it was a procession for Dijon.

Bojan Obradovic was the visitors' star performer with 20 points and eight rebounds, while American guard Reginald Elliot (18 points, four rebounds and four assists) had a good all-round game.
