Barons Slip Past Nahariya

Barons LMT rode their luck in the final minute and advanced to the EuroCup Qualifying Round with a 161-160 win on aggregate against Iscar Nahariya.

After an 81-77 win in Latvia last week, Barons travelled to Israel knowing they had a lot of work to do and they stormed out to a 28-13 lead.

Familiar Names Have Nahariya Back In Business // 20 November 2007 When talking about the EuroCup, one veteran club that we see year after year is Israeli side Ironi Iscar Nahariya. Not long ago, in 2004 and 2005, Nahariya battled for a place in the final four of this top FIBA Europe competition, exiting at the quarter-final stage with 2-1 series defeats to Ural Great and BC Kyiv, respectively.
