The three Israel clubs who took part in the EuroCup this season had mixed results on the domestic front this week.

Galil Elyon and Ironi Nahariya won impressively but Hapoel Tel Aviv, despite the surprise season debut of Doron Sheffer, blew a 15-point advantage with just four minutes to go at Maccabi Rishon LeZion and lost 90-86 in overtime.

Galil Elyon and Hapoel Tel Aviv both suffered early exits from this season's EuroCup and the two clubs were in for more disappointment in the latest round of matches in the Israeli league.

Galil lost their third match in seven games after going down 74-71 to newcomers Ironi Ramat Gan while Hapoel Tel Aviv slumped to a 86-70 defeat to EuroCup Challenge side Ironi Ashkelon to fall to 3-5 for the season.
