The Israeli side were in control for the majority of the first half, before the home team finally took the lead in the 3rd period.

Israeli side Strauss Iscar Nahariya have been the offensive giants of the FEL this season leading all teams in scoring. In game 2 of their play-off series with Russian side Ural Great they showed that they can also play a little defense too, holding the Perm backcourt of Sergey Chikalkin and Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf to a combined 5 points and sending the series back to Russia for a deciding game.

Ural Great picked up the win in the first match-up of their quarter-final series against Nahariya, but it was a tough game that went down to the wire.

Despite leading for the entire contest, it was only in the last 20 seconds that Ural Great could confirm the win, and all indications are that this series could well go to a third game.
