Despite losing the second leg 67-64, Lavezzini Basket advanced to the EuroCup Women quarter-finals after a 156-133 aggregate win over Besiktas Colaturka.

Dubravka Dacic was the hero for the victors, scoring a combined 44 points in the two games.

The Italian-based outfit will now take on Taranto Cras Basket in the quarters.

Taranto advanced in thrilling fashion. They defeated Lattes Montpellier on the road in the second leg 61-59 to win 122-121 in aggregate.

Marianna Balleggi's three-pointer with just 10 seconds remaining put Taranto into the next round with Montpellier turning the ball over on their last possession.

In a Spain vs France encounter, Hondarribia-Irun almost overturned a huge first-leg defeat but were ultimately sent packing by Faenza, who won 149-146 on aggregate.

Hondarribia won the second leg at home, 77-62.

Faenza will take on Chevakata, which pulled out a tight 148-146 win over K Cero from the combined two games.

Chevakata lost the first game by eight points (78-70) but delivered in the clutch in the second encounter by posting a 10-point win, 78-68.

Vologda's second-leg comeback was inspired by 25 points and six three pointers from Lisa Willis.

Dynamo Moscow rolled to a 90-53 triumph over Tarbes for a 158-118 aggregate success.

Tatiana Shchegoleva led the way with 25 and 18 points in the two wins.

Shchegoleva and Co will take on Anda Ramat Hasharon, who lost 75-74 at UB Barca but won 147-134 on aggregate.

Nadezhda narrowly lost 60-61 in the second leg but still prevailed 132-130 on aggregate.

They play BC Dynamo Moscow Region in the quarters.

The club from Moscow prevailed 140-123 from the two legs to advance.

The quarter-finals will begin on February 22 and are home and away encounters.

The winners with the best aggregate scores advance to the semis.
