Germany: RheinEnergie Take Down EnBW Ludwigsburg

RheinEnergie picked up a crucial victory in the Bundesliga following a comfortable 87-68 win over EnBW Ludwigsburg.

The win allows Rhein to cement a third spot in the the league, trailing front-runners Alba Berlin and the second placed  team, GHP Bamberg.

Germany: Bundesliga In Final Straight

Numerous questions remain unanswered in the German Basketball Bundesliga with six games left in the regular season.

Alba Berlin and Bamberg are matching each other step for step at the top while EuroCup quarter-finalists RheinEnergie Koln are almost sure of their place in the play-offs.

Germany: Köln Bounce Back With Win

Following elimination from the EuroCup and BBL-Pokal, RheinEnergie Köln can now focus all of their efforts on their Bundesliga title challenge.

Köln were eliminated from the EuroCup last week after losing their quarter-final play-off series with BC Kyiv 2-1, but director of sport Stephan Baeck insists it is not all bad news.

Kyiv Into Final Four

BC Kyiv clinched their spot in the Final Four of the EuroCup with a 71-64 victory over RheinEnergie Köln in the game three decider.

The Germans appeared to be on course for a victory when they took the first quarter 15-9 and they also edged the second 19-15 to boost their lead to double digits.
