Maja Miljkovic

Career: Dubocica (Serbia-A1, 2003-05), Usce Novi beograd (Serbia-A1, 2005-07)

Maja Miljkovic is one of the most promising players seen in the Serbian league these past seasons. The Leskovac native is a point guard with great court sense who should become the "Floor General" of the Serbian National Team within a few years. She started playing basketball very young, with Dubocica, and the last couple of seasons for Usce Novi Beograd.  Miljkovic is very aggressive on defense, can pass the ball well and can be deadly from beyond the three-point line.  As with many players on the Serbian National Team, Maja won several trophies at the youth level, including a Silver medal with the U16 in 2004, gold at U18 the next summer, and silver at U18 in 2006.
