Serbia & Montenegro continued their march through Group A at the OSTCHEM U20 European Championship with a 78-72 defeat of Croatia.
With star center Tadija Dragicevic again watching from the sidelines having failed to overcome a leg injury sustained at the Global Games in Dallas last month, the Serbo-Montenegrins led for much of the contest and cemented their superiority in the third quarter, winning it 23-16.
Nikola Dragovic led the eventual winners with 22 points although seven rebounds each from Milenko Tepic and Ivan Paunic were also vital.
Jure Lalic top scored with 19 points for a Croatia side which also advances courtesy of a second-placed finish.
