Rinkeviciute's 37-point haul was the highest among all players in the tournament.
The 180 cm guard also grabbed 8 rebounds, dished 5 assists and had 5 steals in Lithuania's win.
In a close game, the key passage of play came from Lithuania in the third quarter.
With the scores tied at 44-44, Lithuania went on a 12-0 run to open up a 58-44 gap.
Serbia & Montenegro were forced to play catch-up for the rest of the contest, but could get no closer than to within 7 points of Lithuania's lead.
Rinkeviciute capped her virtuoso display with 12 points in the fourth quarter, including 7/8 from the free throw line to guide Lithuania to its first ever medal in the U16 Women category.
