Another stand out player at the U20 European Championship Women in Gdynia during 2009, Snezana Aleksic finished as the top scorer for her team and in the two years since has continued her development. She recently made the switch to the Croatian league where she firstly gained experience with Jolly Sibenik in EuroCup Women, a competition she had already featured in with Buducnost and then EuroLeague Women with Gospic Croatia. While she only managed limited minutes, she is surely destined to become a regular in EuroLeague Women and for the National Team in years to come. She managed to play ten minutes per game for the National Team during the Qualifying Round and is someone who can make a shot when the team needs it. She could prove to be an important player if Coach Baletic needs someone to take advantage of a zone defence in the tournament.
