|Having spent two seasons with the club from 2009-2011, Ann Wauters will again suit up for UMMC|
Ann Wauters will help UMMC Ekaterinburg defend their EuroLeague Women crown next season after the Russian powerhouse decided to bring her back to the club for a second stint.
One of the all-time leaders in the competition, the Belgian center previously played with UMMC during the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons.
Then, after becoming a mother, she subsequently landed the title with Ros Casares in 2012.
Last year, the veteran played with Galatasaray where she averaged 9.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in the competition.
She played at the EuroLeague Women Final Eight in Ekaterinburg, although it proved to be a disappointing experience. The Turkish side lost all three of their games, including a crushing 72-44 defeat to UMMC, with the 32-year-old also sustaining a facial injury.
Wauters announced her retirement from the Belgian national team earlier this year and then also opted to skip the forthcoming WNBA season.
Having played continuously in EuroLeague Women since the 1998-99 season, Wauters can not only call upon her previous experiences with UMMC, she has also played in Russia with CSKA Moscow and landed a EuroLeague Women title with VBM-SGAU Samara.
