Ekaterinburg Slip Pask Kosice, Into Final Four

26.02.2010

Good Angels Kosice very nearly forced a game three in their Quarter-Final series with Russian giants UMMC Ekaterinburg, however the team from Russia would come away with a 65-60 victory and a spot in the Final Four.

The Slovakians led by one heading into the final quarter, but Agnieszka Bibrzycka took over from there leading a 14-5 Ekaterinburg run which ended with a three-pointer that gave her team a 56-48 lead, and they would never trail again.

Bibrzycka led the way with 20 points while Kosice relied almost entirely on the American trio of Candace Dupree, Angel McCoughtry and Erin Lawless for their offense.

Dupree scored 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the loss, while McCoughtry scored 16 and Lawless 11.
