Petra Kulichova stole the show with 13 points and 14 rebounds to help leaders Gambrinus Brno secure a comfortable 66-53 victory over UMMC Ekaterinburg in Group B of the EuroLeague Women on Wednesday.

The Czech center was one of four players to claim double-figure contributions for Gambrinus, whose assault on the top of the group looks sure to succeed as they picked up their eighth win in nine games.

Nykesha Sales (12 points), DeLisha Milton (10) and Eva Viteckova (11) also weighed in with decent personal hauls as the Czechs completed the double over their mid-table rivals.

Brno flew out of the traps and their 21-10 lead at the end of the first quarter put them in good shape to seal victory from very early on.

Their advantage by the end of the second period had extended to 15 points (39-24) and they held their lead throughout the second half.

UMMC's American guard Elaine Powell was the match's leading scorer with 16 points, but with only Australian centre Suzy Batkovic (13 points) helping her out, her efforts were always going to be in vain.

A win for Gambrinus against high-flying Bourges Basket in their final group game will secure top spot in the pool.
