A highly competitive player who thrives on a challenge, the swingman is such a key player at Maccabi, they have inked him until 2014. The best way to define Pnini is by saying he's the most loveable player when he's on your team and the most hated when playing for your opponent. He is a nightmare for any player he's assigned to, but can also be a threat on offence with his ability from outside the arc. Pnini lives on the challenge, and if there's a clutch shot he'll find the way to make it. He was used sparingly at EuroBasket 2009 but stepped up be a key part of last summer's squad in the qualifying competition, and then followed it up by shooting Maccabi to the Euroleague Final earlier this year meaning he will be a key part of Israel's team.
