Iced the win with his free-throws: Khimik top-scorer Willie Deane

Khimik Yuzhne scored four points in the final six seconds to snatch a 76-73 win on the road over JDA Dijon and move to 2-0 in Group D of the EuroChallenge.

In a thrilling finish, the Ukrainians let slip a five-point lead in the final four minutes, but then came back at the death to take the win.

Khimik had rallied from a 44-32 half-time deficit to lead 70-65 when Vitaliy Kovalenko made a jump-shot with 3:56 left in the game.

Jeremy Leloup completed a three-point play from the line for Dijon before Stanislav Zavadskyi padded Khimik's lead with a jump-shot.

But back came Dijon once more as Andre Harris hit a three-pointer and David Melody gave them a 73-72 lead with a lay-up 1:54 from the buzzer.

Both teams then missed a series of chances to take control, most of them wasted by Dijon as Leloup, Melody and Terrance Campbell all came up empty.

With just six ticks left, Willie Deane went to the line and hit both shots to edge Khimik in front 74-73.

Leloup's turnover gave Devoe Joseph the chance to finish it off but he missed both his free throws, only for Melody to spare his blushes by turning it over once more before Kovalenko's dunk finished Dijon off.

Deane led Khimik with 17 points while Zavadskyi had 14, Joseph 12 and Kovalenko 10.

Zacherie Moss had 14 points for Dijon, Harris 12 and Leloup 11.
