Slovak basketball star Radoslav Rancik has signed a new one-year deal to stay in the Mattoni NBL with EuroCup side Nymburk.

The 2.05m power forward enjoyed a successful 2005-06, averaging 14.2 points per game, 5.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.9 steals as Nymburk rolled to another title in the Czech top flight.

He also represented the side in the Euro Cup where he averaged 15.9 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.

Rancik is a member of the Slovakian national side that will face Albania, the Netherlands, Belarus and Great Britain in Group B of Division B in the forthcoming EuroBasket qualifiers.
