Three wins in three games is the unexpected record of MiZo-Pécsi VSK in this year's EuroLeague. After beating Samara and Gdynia, the Hungarian champion beat Lavezzini Parma 67-46 with a dazzling display of accuracy.

Hungarian national team captain Andrea Károlyi led the way with 20 points, making 9 shots of 14 from the field. Point guard Dalma Iványi (and another national team player), was reliable as usual, with 8 points, 11 assists, 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Erzsébet Ambrus came off the bench to score 14 points and pull down 7 rebounds, rounding up a solid team performance.

Parma – runaway leaders in the Italian league – missed their playmaker Gordana Grubin due to injury. In her absence Daliborka Vilipic (11 points) and American veteran Taj McWilliams (16 points) were the only weapons coach Miodrag Veskovic was able to field.

Pécs never relinquished the lead they took in the first minute (5-0). The audience of 3500 people acknowledged the undisputed win with a standing ovation.

MVP of the game: Andrea Károlyi (Pécs)
