The match began with a cold shower for the host. Khimik showed the way the game would go and sank two 3-pointers (0-6). After two minutes the team from Odessa already led 3-11.

Slowly EURAS found their way back into the match and even managed to give Khimik an equal challenge. Ekaterinburg was down 17-30 after the first period but won the second 21-16.

In the last three seconds of the game, Mantas Ruikis made a killer 3-pointer, handing BC Neptunas its second win in this group.

EURAS Ekaterinburg 107 Tartu Rock 97

Euras Ekaterinburg prevailed over Estonian club Tartu Rock at home tonight, 107:97, thanks to another outstanding performance from guard, Ainars Bagatskis. The Latvian sharpshooter had his second consecutive 40-point game of the season, racking up 42 points in the win.

Despite the scoring outburst from Bagatskis, it was Euras’ center Niksa Tarle who was the outstanding man for the home team early on, and he hit for 8 of his side’s 18 first quarter points. Rock stayed neck and neck with Euras thanks mainly to 7 points from Tarmo Kikerpill.

Khimik 104 EURAS Ekaterinburg 81

After a nervous game with a lot of fouls Khimik Yuzhny got its second win in a row - and simultaneously secured the first place in the Group C.

Ainars Bagatskis scored 11 during the first quarter but it wasn’t enough for Euras: reliable defense of the Ukrainian team, their effective attacks initiated by playmaker Srdjan Djuric and successful free throws resulted in 12-point lead already after the first five and 28:17 lead after first ten minutes.
