A Bronx, New York native, Wilson had his first touch with Finnish culture late last decade when he hooked up with his wife-to-be while playing professionally in Belgium. Wilson debuted in the Finnish top level in 2010 and has lived in the country with his wife and child ever since. For the past five years, Wilson has been practicing with Finland every July, learning the ropes of ‘Susijengi's' unique style of play and getting to know the best-of-the-best of Finnish basketball. Finally this June, his long-time dream of Finnish citizenship came true. A quicksilver type of player, Wilson is able to tear defences apart with his ball handling and penetration, whilst defensively he's the guy to haunt opposing playmakers to the brink of madness. In the absence of Teemu Rannikko, Wilson is the man to bring veteran leadership to the team.
