Ann Wauters was again the hero for CSKA Volgaburmash as her 20 points led them to victory over Dexia Namur in Belgium.

CSKA made their intentions clear by opening the game on a 7-0 tear, and their margin increased to 21-7 before Dexia closed the gap to 26-14 at the end of the first quarter.

The visitors continued to dominate until half-time, but Dexia rallied after the break, outscoring their opponents 21-9 in the third period to close the gap to 52-47.

The fourth quarter began with several misses, and neither side registered until CSKA's Ilona Korstin sank the second of two free throws with 8:14 remaining.

Korstin and Wauters then made the difference in the final moments to pull the CSKA clear for their second victory in the group stages.

Korstin finished with 17 points while Maria Stepanova had 15 and 10 rebounds.

Cathrine Kraayeveld led the hosts with 18 points, while Katryna Gaither pulled down 14 rebounds.
