CSKA Volgaburmash cruised to their first major honour of the campaign with a 71-45 triumph over Dynamo Moscow in the final of the Russian Cup.
On a day when their number one star, Maria Stepanova, was announced as the FIBA Europe Women's Player of the Year for the second straight time, Igor Grudin's team romped to victory.
CSKA trailed 8-5 just over three minutes into the game but then outscored Dynamo 20-4 over the remainder of the period to seize control.
A three-pointer by Spanish international Nuria Martinez cut CSKA's lead to 31-21, but Dynamo got no closer the rest of the way.
Ann Wauters led the way with 17 points and Demya Walker weighed in with 14.
Dynamo endured an almighty struggle shooting the ball, making just 13 of 50 (26%) inside the arc, compared to CSKA's 26 of 51 (51%).
CSKA can now turn their attention to the Superleague Women and the EuroLeague.
In Europe, they take on US Valenciennes in the eighth-finals.
