CSKA Volgaburmash picked up another EuroLeague Women Group B win as they coasted to a 65-47 success over Dexia Namur.

CSKA quickly established control and after conceding the first basket of the match raced to a 9-2 lead before taking the quarter 17-9.

In the third quarter, Dexia pulled the score back to 46-41 when Deyaert made a jump shot but a three-pointer from Amaya Valdemoro saw CSKA maintain a healthy margin.

By the end of the third, the Russians led 52-43 and a three-pointer at the start of the fourth from Olga Arteshina stretched that margin.

The Belgians never again got within 10 points of their opponents, who took the final quarter 13-4 to seal a comfortable success.

Ann Wauters punished her fellow countrywomen with an 18-point haul and 14 boards for CSKA.

Her shooting was far from perfect with only four from 12 inside the paint although she managed 10 from 13 from the charity stripe.

Valdemoro also poured in 18 for the Samara-based outfit.

For Dexia, Katryna Gaither managed 14 points and 14 boards while Nele Deyaert posted 10.

The only setback so far in this year's competition for Volgaburmash came at the hands of French club Bourges Basket, while Dexia have only won one game, that success coming against MiZo Pecs.
