Dynamo Moscow's campaign of frustration at the hands of BC Volgaburmash continued as the EuroLeague Women champions progressed through to the title game of the Cup of Russia's Final Four with an 87-85 overtime victory on Wednesday night.

Dynamo finally had the Samara side, who are gunning for an amazing quadruple this season, on the ropes as they entered the fourth quarter with an 18-point cushion.

But Volgaburmash do not know the meaning of the word 'defeat' and they managed to maintain their unbeaten record in domestic competition this season as they clawed back the deficit with a 27-9 final-quarter run before creeping to victory in overtime.

Dynamo are getting used to that losing feeling when they come up against the best women's team in the world.

They have been unable to live with them in Russia's SuperLeague this term, with Samara finishing the regular season with a flawless record.

Volgaburmash also prevailed against their Russian rivals in the quarter-finals of the EuroLeague Women, winning their series 2-0 to advance into the Final Four of the competition.

Indeed, the only team to have triumphed against Samara this season are MiZo Pecs, the Hungarians winning 80-68 in the group stages of the EuroLeague.

Volgaburmash claimed their second successive FIBA World League Women title earlier this season and are looking to add three more trophies to their burgeoning collection before the season is out.

They may come a cropper in the Final Four of the EuroLeague if they start as poorly as they did against Dynamo on Wednesday.

Lithuanian outfit Lietuvos Telekomas lie in wait in the semi-finals and may not be as forgiving in the latter stages of matches as Dynamo.
