BC Volgaburmash stamped their authority on women's basketball in Russia once again on Saturday with a decisive road win at UMMC Ekaterinburg.
Volgaburmash, who are based in Samara, are the defending champions of Russia and Europe.
This season has already seen them defend their FIBA Women's World League title.
UMMC were no match for them on Saturday as they fell at home 87-75.
Ann Wauters had 16 points, Ilona Korstine and Svetlana Abrosimova 14 and Olga Arteshina 11 as Volgaburmash won for the 10th time and remained undefeated in the Superleague.
The game was tied at 21-21 after the first quarter but Igor Grudin's women outscored Ekaterinburg 29-19 in the second quarter to take command.
UMMC had entered the game full of confidence after a big win in Europe against MKB Euroleasing Sopron.
Now they are 7-2 in the Superleague table
