Rhondda Rebels advanced to the next stage of the EuroCup Women with a 69-57 home win over Boaviagem Angra Acores in Wales.

Player-coach Andrea Congreaves led the way with 18 points and 12 rebounds in 36 minutes on the floor.

Rhondda Rebels will be ready for the challenge of Boaviagem Angra Acores in the second leg of their EuroCup Women elimination tie on Wednesday.

That's according to general manager Andrew Tynan, whose team go into the home clash after an excellent performance to defeat Boaviagem 65-78 in Portugal last week.
