TTT Riga suffered a fourth-quarter collapse at home in EuroLeague Women Group A and lost 66-60 to Galatasaray on Wednesday evening.
Taking on the 2008-09 EuroCup Women winners from Turkey, Riga were eager to return to the floor after suffering a season-opening 118-38 defeat at Ros Casares and all was going according to plan through three quarters.
Late in the period, they had a 48-40 advantage but the Riga defense disappeared over the final 10 minutes.
Galatasaray poured in 24 fourth-quarter points and went on to claim their second victory in the competition this season.
Sophia Young hit the go-ahead jump shot with 4:18 remaining in the game, making it 56-54 for the visitors.
Young finished with 30 points and five rebounds for Galatasaray, who won their opener last week against Cras Basket Taranto.
Lyndra Weaver poured in 25 points in defeat for Riga.
