It has been three wonderful years for Tereza Brantlova between her 18th and 20th birthdays. First she won silver at the U18 European Championships in 2000. She followed that with a gold medal from the World Junior Championships in 2001 and the U20 European Championship a year later. Everybody thought she had a great future but the competition at point guard on the Czech senior team is so fierce that Brantlova has been overlooked since then. At 25 and with success at the club level under her belt (12.7 ppg for Miscolc of Hungary) maybe it is the right time for her to claim a place on the team.
