Elena Kirillova - EuroBasket Women 2015 Profile

The MVP of EuroBasket Women 2011 when she guided Russia to the top of the podium (playing under her maiden name Danilochkina), the guard has spent the last few years focusing on family life but returned to action last season. Without their key combo guard, the Russia national team found themselves enduring a backcourt nightmare at the Final Round in France. That's why both the fans and coaching staff are looking forward in so much anticipation to her possible return this summer. Nowadays Kirillova is ready to match expectations by gaining back those optimal conditions which she showed before her period of absence. It's also obvious to the public in Orenburg that she missed the game greatly, since her performances on the floor for Nadezhda during the past season had much more passion than any previous time in her career. She can put points on the scoreboard in a hurry and can handle the ball in pressure situations.
