It was with Coach Vainauskas at Kursk a couple of seasons ago where Petrakova produced the finest campaign of her career to date, which culminated in EuroCup Women success and a senior debut for Russia at the age of 27. Whilst she didn't maintain the same level of consistency as during the club season, she did post a memorable 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists against Turkey in a thrilling quarter-final match-up which underlined her value. Now she is a EuroLeague Women champion 12 months after winning EuroCup Women, having made the move to UMMC Ekaterinburg last summer. She is a player at home shooting threes on the wing, or mixing it up inside and she is someone who can score in bunches too. A EuroBasket Women debut is expected and she could really be one of the ‘X-Factor' players for Russia this summer.
