On Thursday night TV Saarlouis Royals beat USO Mondeville to complete the Semi-Final pairings in EuroCup Women. The German champions, ranked 13th after the group stage take on Nedezhda Orenburg from Russia, who beat K.V. Imperial AEL in both their Quarter-Final encounters. In the other Semi-Final, Dynamo Kursk, the other Russian club left in the competition, face Sony Athinaikos from Greece. The surprise defeat of Mondeville leaves the Greek team as the highest seeded team in the contest. This means they will have the second game at home both in the Semi-Finals and in a possible Finals tie.
