BC Khimki clinched a 77-65 win at Dynamo Moscow Region on Saturday as Melvin Booker poured in 18 points and Ruben Wolkowisky added 14 with 10 rebounds.

Khimki now have 12 wins and three defeats and are in second place behind leaders CSKA Moscow (12-2).

The visitors went on an 8-1 spurt to close out the first quarter with a 25-19 lead, and kept the pressure on at the start of the second by reeling off 11 of the first 15 points in that quarter for a 36-23 advantage.

By half-time, the lead was 51-37 and though Dynamo Moscow Region cut the deficit to 66-58 by the end of the third, they would get no closer.

Fans watched a defensive struggle over the last 10 minutes with Khimki scoring 11 to just seven for Dynamo Moscow Region.

Khimki are attempting to seal their qualification for the quarter-final round of the EuroCup this week. They lead Group L with a 4-1 record ahead of DKV Joventut (3-1), the team they visit, and Azovmash (3-2).
