CSKA Moscow stamped their authority on the Superleague with a convincing 98-79 triumph over BC Khimki.

In a battle between two of the best sides in Russia on Saturday, CSKA were superior as they seized a 32-22 lead by the end of the first quarter and stayed in control for the remainder of the contest.

American-born Russian international Jon Holden and the pride of Alaska, Trajan Langdon, each had 20 points for CSKA.

CSKA were 13 of 29 (45%) from the arc with Langdon four of five and Holden four of six.

Gianmarco Pozzecco, who played in last week's EuroCup All-Star Day in Cyprus, poured in 15 points for Khimki.

CSKA, who have reached the quarter-finals off the Euroleague with two games to spare in the Top 16, lead the Superleague with 19 wins and just two defeats. They are in front of Khimki (16-4) and Dynamo St Petersburg (15-4).

Both Khimki and St Petersburg have qualified for the EuroCup Final Four.
