With a 76-66 win over Dexia Namur Basket Spezia Club earns the qualification for the Pan-European Phase in the Fiba Europe Cup Women.

Throughout the entire first period it was a close game, with excellent defence by Dexia Namur and good performances by Sara Giauro and Krystyna Szymanska-Lara.

Things didn't really change in the second quarter. La Spezia continued to struggle offensively, mainly because of Dexia Namur's defence. Key players for Dexia during that phase of the game were Oksana Agabalova (16 points, 9 rebounds) and Marie Caers (14 points).

The first half closed with a 36-31 lead for La Spezia.

In the third period it was Immacolata Gentile (13 points, 6 steals) and Nevriye Yilmaz (12 points) who carried their team and La Spezia managed to reach a double-digit lead by the end of the third quarter (59-49).

In the final 10 minutes La Spezia easily defended their lead.

Gergana Slavcheva was voted MVP of the game, she had 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals for La Spezia.

Top scorer of the game was Shery Sam with 18 points.
