Sasha Vasiljevic is a point guard with a wealth of experience to call upon and brings plenty to the table for the National Team. The 32-year-old playmaker is not only able to create for his team-mates but he is also a very capable scorer who can get to the hoop or hit jumpers. He posted double digits during two years playing in the top Greek league and also found success in Ukraine last season. While defensively he may not be quite as quick as some of his rivals, he makes up for that with his anticipation and ability to read the game very well. He last played for the National Team during the Qualifying Round for EuroBasket 2007 but could be ready to answer the call once again.
