Having come up through the ranks of Tiit Sokk's Basketball School in Tallinn, Dorbek is a well-known commodity for the head coach of the Estonian national team. The 30-year-old shooting guard from the Estonian capital has bounced around various clubs throughout his career, including a short stint in Ukraine, but has always found a place in the national side. The five-time Estonian champion is an all-round contributor who can shoot from beyond the arc and put the ball on the floor if needed. Having moved from Kalev/Cramo to TU/Rock two seasons ago, he has been one of the key players for the Tartu team, averaging 10.3 points and 2.6 rebounds in the side's most recent EuroChallenge campaign during 2014-15. He is a distant cousin of Martin Dorbek.
